Join us as an Auction Settlement Specialist and be a member of the Auction Finance Team. In this role, you will ensure that all auctions are settled correctly and in a timely matter. You won't be confined to just one region; this is an international role, placing you at the heart of onboarding all brands and their associated countries onto our proprietary auction platform, “Atlas”.

We are looking for candidates who can work in an international environment. You should be curious as you must go deep into the individual business processes. You are proactive and self-starting. You are an excellent financial reporting to the manager auction finance.

Your responsibilities

• You will ensure all compliance processes are completed.
• You will manage KYC (know your customer) procedures.
• You will handle bank verification.
• You will ensure correct settlement of auctions.
• You will follow approval processes and procedures for auction settlements.
• You are the first contact of sales concerning settlements.
• You support the buyer VAT refund process, including VAT number checks.
• You have an understanding of the auction processes.
• You understand the VAT treatment and process flow.

What you bring

• You possess a bachelor degree or demonstrate bachelor-level thinking, with a background in finance processes and 3+ years of experience in finance roles for dynamic companies.
• You have up-to-date knowledge of VAT, coupled with proficiency in Excel.
• You are structured, focused in a dynamic setting, and possess excellent communication skills in English, German, and preferably Dutch.
• You are a pragmatic problem-solver, thinking in solutions, and a true team player.
