Join our team and work together in the world of online auctions!
We usually respond within three days
At TBAuctions we manage both the Seller and Buyer experience through two flagship products. Our Sellers use our back-office application, Atlas, to manage their inventories and set up their auctions. Our buyers can then view these auctions on our white-label storefront website, based on a single solid foundation then customized per auction brand that we own. Our main technical mission is to migrate the rest of our brands onto these two products and reach feature parity across the entire auctioning industry.
TBAuctions handles 2.9 million items annually, has 30 million website visits per month, can reach 10 bids per second, and employs over 1000 people.
Culture
At the tech department, culture is very important, and we take it seriously. After all, it is the people that make the company, not software.
- Communication and collaboration are key words in our daily work.
- We aim to communicate with each other as clearly and directly as possible without interrupting anyone’s productivity and workflow.
- We aim to establish the requirements and the “why” and “who” of tasks so engineers can be responsible for the quality of work delivered while understanding the needs of the end user.
- We aim to create an office environment where our engineers feel safe, uninterrupted, and want to collaborate.
- We aim to foster a culture that allows for open communication and differences of opinion, where every voice can be heard.
- We value continuous learning and growth by breaking down knowledge silos and encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing to build strength and redundancy within our organization.
- We aim to break the stigma surrounding stress and mental health issues and actively work to raise awareness of such challenges in the workplace.
